1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoteROI (voteroi.com), operated by VoteROI.com LLC ("VoteROI," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this platform.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Who We Are

VoteROI is operated by VoteROI.com LLC, a technology services company. Political contributions are processed by American Muckrakers PAC, Inc., a non-profit corporation registered with the NC Secretary of State and a registered PAC with the FEC (American Muckrakers II, C00896951).

3. Eligibility

To make political donations through VoteROI, you must:

• Be a United States citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be making the contribution from your own personal funds — not on behalf of another person or entity
• Not be a federal government contractor
• Not be making the contribution from the treasury of a corporation, labor organization, or national bank

4. Platform Fee & Payment Processing

VoteROI charges a flat 2.75% platform fee on all donations, regardless of payment method. This fee covers payment processing, platform operations, and FEC compliance reporting. The fee is deducted before disbursement to the campaign or PAC.

Payments are processed via Stripe. By submitting a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. VoteROI does not store full credit card numbers or bank account credentials on our servers.

For bank transfers (ACH), Stripe Financial Connections may be used to verify your account. Your banking credentials are never shared with VoteROI.

5. FEC Disclosure Requirements

Federal law requires political committees to disclose the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose aggregate contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. By donating, you authorize VoteROI to include this information in required FEC filings, which become public record.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information for FEC compliance purposes. Providing false information is a violation of federal law.

6. Refund Policy

Political donations are generally non-refundable once disbursed to campaigns or PACs, consistent with FEC regulations and standard political committee practices.

If you believe a donation was made in error (wrong amount, duplicate charge, unauthorized transaction), contact us immediately at info@americanmuckrakers.com or (828) 222-3550. We will make every effort to reverse transactions before disbursement. Once funds have been disbursed, refunds are at the discretion of the receiving campaign or PAC.

7. Privacy & Data Use

Our full Privacy Policy is available at voteroi.com/privacy. Key points:

• We never share your email, phone number, or mailing address with campaigns
• Campaigns receive your contribution — not your contact information
• We handle all FEC reporting on your behalf
• We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes
• FEC-required disclosure information (name, address, employer, occupation) becomes public record as required by federal law

8. Donor IQ Membership

Donor IQ is a paid membership tier ($15/month or $120/year). Membership fees support platform operations and are not political donations — they do not go to any campaign or PAC.

Memberships auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time by logging into your account or contacting us at info@americanmuckrakers.com. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Membership fees are not tax-deductible.

9. AI Advisor Disclaimer

VoteROI's Donor Advisor is an AI-powered tool that provides recommendations based on win probability data, FEC records, and prediction market information. These recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or political advice.

Past election outcomes do not guarantee future results. All political donations carry inherent risk of loss. VoteROI does not guarantee any electoral outcome.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on VoteROI — including the VoteROI name, Donor IQ™, Donation X-Ray™, Donate Smart™ branding, data analysis, and platform design — is the intellectual property of VoteROI.com LLC. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.

11. Prohibited Uses

You may not use VoteROI to:

• Make contributions on behalf of foreign nationals, corporations, or other prohibited sources under federal law
• Circumvent FEC contribution limits
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download platform data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to platform systems
• Use the platform for money laundering or any illegal purpose

12. Limitation of Liability

VoteROI is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. VoteROI.com LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to electoral outcomes, investment losses, or data breaches beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid to VoteROI in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable federal law, including the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA). Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Mitchell County, North Carolina.
